Mt. Franklin Star
Danny’s aunt, Beverly Kelly, and cousins, Ben and
Clint, dedicated a lighting of the Star on Mt. Franklin in El Paso, Texas,
in memory of Danny – on what would have been his 15th birthday,
May 27, 2002. Their memorial message was simple but appropriate: “Danny,
your light will continue to shine in our hearts. We miss you.”
Danny was a “shooting star” in our family galaxy. You
rarely see a shooting star. It’s here for barely a moment, but while it’s
here it lights up the sky. All the other stars just stop and watch….
